Hallo, Terry,

How are you? I say, we've all descended upon the Weasleys, to do what we can to help them. I do wish we could have everyone together, you and Hermione. I'm sure you'd have liked to come, if it were possible, what?

Ron's holding up, I suppose. It's helped that so many of us are here, though there's a constant stream of well-wishers. And Mr Weasley's lying in state, as it were, and that's a bit, odd, but I suppose one gets used to it.

But then something very curious happened. Hydra's cousin, Mrs Ponds, came to visit with her husband and their daughter. And they brought the family dog along.

Pansy and I had never met their dog but we did know this dog.

I say, Terry, old man, when you were learning animagery, did you.... Did you by chance have help from Sirius?

Because we're pretty well certain he's masquerading as the Ponds' dog.

Are we right? Ought we to share it with the others?

I'm sure you have loads of questions as have we but--oh, dash it, I wish you could be here with us all. Not just so we can all talk but for Ron, as well. Do you think it's possible? We could say you're some country cousin no one would be likely to know. No one would think twice, there are so many people about.

Could you come? If not, I hope you can answer, at least.

Hullo, all,

I say, Terry, I'm well glad that you're back to normal. I do think it's got to be a sign you're heading in the right direction, what? Besides, being able to cast that disillusionment under the circumstances more than proves you're bally well cracking at magic and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I'm writing a letter to Mr Rosier. Hydra and I were working on it last night, as well but I wanted you lot to look it over, too. There are a few things in it that I'm concerned might be tipping my hand, what, but one has to bring them to light and better to do it now, when there's time to back out, than after I've agreed and come to find out it's the bad end of a wrong decision.

I also thought, well, if I copy it out for you lot, you might point out anything I've missed asking, or might want to say differently, if you follow me. There's some information that's rather personal. I say, I hope you don't find that it's selfish or, er--well, there are things to do with money, and other somewhat touchy subjects, what? But as I say, the questions have to be asked.

If I wrote it out under the lock, would that be all right? I've told Hydra that I planned to ask some of you to have a look so it's not as if she'll wonder if something suddenly changes before I send it. I have to send it soon, though, or there shan't be time to work everything out.

What ho, everyone!

I've done it.

There was a moment when I thought someone from the village was going to follow me. I hid behind a tree and held my breath, what, but he kept on and didn't approach the grove.

Terry, I waved. I don't know if you were there or not.

The bag is on the west side of the grove, in the knothole of an oak. I put a preservation spell on it so that animals and weather should stay out, what, and the stone that will vibrate when you're close enough to find it, Terry.

I wish we could do more, old chap. Truly. It seems like a well minimal sort of intervention. But don't give up! I say, if there's a way to get you out, we shall find it.

Hullo, everyone,

I say, something odd happened today. I got Neville's parcel--thanks for that, Neville, it's well grand--but then Professor Froissart told me that I had an invitation from Finnigan and his guardian to go to and visit Seamus. On Monday, what?

Apparently his guardian has to go to some bally old breakfast but then he thought Seamus could have some people over while he's gone, and then join him for luncheon at his club. And then there's a concert thing in the early evening. Pansy, I think it's one of those groups you like. Fat Kneazle or something like that--brilliant, really, any other day.

It would have to be Monday, though, what? Rotten luck. I've told them it's not possible. Dash it, though, I do dislike having to turn down an invitation one would ordinarily accept out of politeness. It raises questions, what?

I told Professor Froissart that I was well sorry but I had been looking forward to Lincoln in particular. He asked why and I had to say it was a family connection. It was the first thing I could think of, what.

It can't be that they suspect and wish to keep me from going to Lincoln, can it?

Are we certain that none of the adults can see now that Fred and George can't anymore?

Hullo, everyone,

Terry's suggested that we put together a survival kit, what, and that I might take it with me when the group visits Lincoln over hols. He's told me where to hide it so if he is ever able to escape, he can take it along.

I think it's a smashing idea. And since some of you will be going along to a few things before then, you might even get me items to put in it after hols, what? I say, at first I thought we only had two days to put it together but there's the Yorkshire trip and all.

So if you've got something to contribute, you can give it to me before the end of the day Friday or on the train, or on any of the events on April 6, 7, or 8 (those of you who are coming, that is).

Terry mentioned clothes, what, and I thought a bedroll and perhaps some toiletries, maybe even cooking tools if we can put that bally old shrinking spell on them, yes? And some money, of course. Perhaps a map, maybe to yours, Ron and Fred and George? Or if that wouldn't be wise, then to somewhere else safer. Sally-Anne, perhaps he could get to the Strettons' and blend in, what?

And we shall need a good knapsack to carry it all, perhaps with an expansion charm on it. That's well advanced magic, though: Fred, George and Lee, could you manage that? Perhaps Sally-Anne's clever enough to do it. That might be more difficult as I don't think I've got anything appropriate, what. And while I might be able to get one in New London at the weekend, then we might not have time or privacy to put the charms on it while we're all in our groups.

So does anyone else have something we could use? I suppose that's the start and we may all add to it as we can. The Lincoln trip is on 9 April, so as long as I have the contents by then, I shall be able to convey them.

I say, Sally-Anne,

Might you be free for a short chat? I wanted to share some of Hydra's observations about Jane Eyre, what--and--

Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't mind saying I wasn't half disturbed by that revelation of Terry's. I mean to say, reading about things that Carrow bloke has done in the past, that was one thing, what, but it's quite different to be confronted with the reality, isn't it?

If you've no plans, that is.
