I merely meant that...she was a bit more open with me toward the end of our meeting than the beginning. I say, she was worried I meant to propose another relationship of convenience, which clearly had begun to chafe on her where Draco was concerned. And she was understandably upset about why he might not have wanted a real relationship with her.
You're right that she's not weak, nor is she stupid. In her case I'd say it's more that...she doesn't like to think about things she'd rather not think about, what. She's much happier...coasting, if you follow me. But all these rather dire and deep events keep occurring right round her and make the consequences and implications jolly well hard to ignore.
